28-story residential tower on Billionaires’ Row nears to top off this month

The residential development at 126 East 57th Street, on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown East, Manhattan, is near top off. This 28-story tower, reaching a height of 346 feet, is being developed by MRR Development, and designed by ODA Architecture. With plans to provide 147 condominium units, averaging 1,156 square feet each, and 5,000 square feet of retail space on the lower levels- the property will also feature a narrow extension to East 57th Street.

Nearly every unit will boast private outdoor terraces, creating a pixelated effect on the cast-in-place concrete façade with projections and recesses. The residential entrance on 57th street will lead residents through a copper mirrored gateway into a 6-story tall atrium offering views of a landscaped courtyard. A gallery will then guide residents to the lobby and access to the 28-story residential tower. An alternative entrance to the lobby will be available through a porte cochere on 56th Street for convenient car drop-off.

Some residential amenities at 126 East 57th Street include a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, and a private indoor basketball court. The development is conveniently located two blocks south of the Lexington Avenue-59th Street subway station, which is serviced by the 4, 5, 6, N, R, and W trains, and connects to the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station to the north, served by the Q and F trains.

"This building brings a human scale, playfulness and visual interest to this upscale corridor of 57th Street,” commented Eran Chen, Founder and Executive Director of ODA. “As New York City slowly transforms Midtown East to a residential destination, we strive to offer a contemporary outlook for the taste makers and young professional buyers who value high design."

The distinctive footprint and layouts enabled ODA to prioritize multiple amenity experiences, creating interconnected and intimate moments throughout the building. These spaces will offer residents a variety of areas to unwind and explore, all within close proximity to their homes. This ecosystem is intended to cultivate a sense of community within the building, enhancing the overall resident experience.
